I have finally figured out what I am going to do my instructional website design on. I am going to set a website up to help a sophomore United states history class. I will put their assignments, reviews, worksheets, projects, and notes on the website. The main reason I would do this website is to keep the parents informed on what we are doing in class. Plus they will be able to know the students assignments, so they can make sure they will do them. I don't know if the parents will actually do this, but if I get one or two to check the website and help their child, I guess it will be a success. It will also be there for any child who missed class. Plus this will be an extra resource to help students with the class.
I have been looking at the LMS and I'm not sure what I'm going to do for this project. To be honest I'm not really sure what it is. I know we talked about on wednesday chat session, but for some reason I thought we were talking about the Instructional website. Hopefully I will get a little more insight on this project. Really this is the only thing right now I'm worried about.

I read the transcript for Wed's chat. Here's my take: Just pretend that you're going to have your American History class use Moodle, with its discussions and other features. Then create discussion prompts, assignments, and so on that they might do. This could be meaningful, anyway, in case you'd consider using it in the fall. (If I'm wrong about the assignment, let me know!)
Look at Leigh's comment...she seems to understand. And, the readings should help too!
